From Belo Horizonte to the stages of Brazil, Aline Abreu carries in her sweet and striking voice the strength of someone who has made music a profession, and also the essence of her life. A singer and songwriter, she moves between MPB, pop, sertanejo, and country rock, always with authenticity and emotion.
The daughter of a band bassist, Aline grew up in Lagoa Santa, Minas Gerais, surrounded by sounds and melodies. At seven years old she was already singing, at nine she learned guitar on her own, and at twelve she was composing her first songs. At fifteen, she was already participating in regional festivals, showing that music was more than a hobby: it was destiny.
In 2015, she was a finalist in the Festival of Original Songs with Despertar do Inverno (Winter Awakening), broadcast by Band Minas. The following year, she released the album Fontes da Vida, with 11 original tracks that have garnered over 1.6 million plays on independent platforms. The work featured prominent collaborations, such as maestro Marcus Viana and Xonadão from Trio Parada Dura, consolidating her fusion of styles.
Aline has performed in several states and on radio and TV programs. In 2016, she sang for over 30,000 people at the 70th anniversary of SESC in Belo Horizonte, alongside Marcus Viana and the Transfônica Orkestra. In 2019, she opened for Sá & Guarabyra and performed telenovela soundtracks with the group Sagrado Coração da Terra. More recently, she shone at major events such as ExpoZebu in Uberaba and Culturando Barretos, in addition to singing for crowds at regional festivals.
Aline faced obstacles that could have silenced her career. Her first CD was financed in installments, and at the time of its release, she was dealing with postpartum depression. She recorded a DVD even while weakened by Chikungunya, needing to re-record vocals at home. A mother of three, she often balanced motherhood and her career alone, without giving up the stage. For her, success is not measured only in fame or money, but in the impact her music has on people.
During the pandemic, Aline remained active with acoustic and band live streams, reaching 40,000 views on a Palco MP3 broadcast. Her digital presence grew even more with TikTok, where she gained 10,000 followers in just one year, proving that the platform is a powerful ally for independent artists.
With more than 12 years of career, Aline still has a future under construction and plans to combine in-person shows and live streams, in addition to releasing new compositions and projects, such as a country music partnership with a violinist from Goiás. Gratitude and persistence are her hallmarks: she keeps messages from fans who encourage her and believes that listening to her own inner voice is the secret to moving forward.
Aline Abreu’s journey is marked by battles, but also by achievements that reveal her essence: music as the driving force of life. Her voice sings and transforms stories into emotion, showing that, even in the face of difficulties, art is capable of illuminating paths and touching hearts.
